Allison Monroe

A longtime Lake Tahoe resident based in Tahoe City, Allison Monroe has worked as a graphic designer for twenty years. Her experience includes all areas of print design in addition to years as art director of Tahoe Quarterly Magazine (2009–2013) and Las Vegas Magazine (2000–2005). With projects ranging from small direct mailings like brochures and postcards to large projects such as visitor guides, books and catalogues, her work is varied. Yet her focus remains the same – creative, art, vision.

Her stints as art director of the magazines mentioned above, as well as several other magazines and large publications, have given Allison extensive professional experience as a photo editor. She can help with any stock photography needs, either from her own library or from her familiarity with many stock websites.  

Allison's wide variety of design projects has helped her acquire a strong knowledge of the printing industry and prepress requirements. She has spent years managing other designers and production departments and managing online publishing – producing digital magazine editions, sweepstakes, banners and icons.
